The Challenge
Qualcomm Technologies is known the world over for their Snapdragon line of mobile chipsets, powering millions of devices and enabling robust user experiences. With the launch of their next-generation Snapdragon 7 chip on the horizon, boasting features associated with the higher-tier Snapdragon 8, Qualcomm sought our help to make a video that could excite an audience of people who want flagship performance at an accessible price.
The Approach
To differentiate this marketing asset from existing content related to the lower-tier Snapdragon 6, we recommended the use of practical filming and the portrayal of users enjoying key features of the platform. After developing conceptual visuals that would blend live-action production with exciting 2D and 3D effects, we filmed two unique personas in our green screen studio and merged the footage with stylized CGI scenes and eye-catching motion graphic sequences.
The Final Result
In a short timeframe, we conceptualized, pitched, and delivered a commercial-style video that the Snapdragon team was excited to use for promoting one of their most anticipated products. To support their large customer base in China, we produced localized versions with fully translated text. We also created short-form cuts in both landscape and portrait formats for social media, rounding out a complete library of promotional assets.
