The Challenge

San Diego-based Curebound is on an unwavering mission to end cancer by funding and accelerating the journey from new discoveries to clinical application. For their annual Concert for Cures event, they enlisted our help to create a video that would highlight the real-life stories of individuals and families impacted by their work.

The Approach

Capturing such deeply personal stories required a documentary-style approach. We listened, we learned, and we documented profoundly moving experiences shared by those directly affected by Curebound’s efforts. This project called for both heart and skill in equal measure.

The Final Result

The final video premiered at Concert for Cures 2023, displayed on large stage-side monitors to an audience of thousands. Emotionally charged and filled with stories of hope and resilience, it set the perfect tone for an evening dedicated to making a difference.
